Many Netizens Say Spicy Comments To Wamenaker Noel After Being Caught OTT KPK

JAKARTA - The name Immanuel Ebenezer alias Noel immediately became the spotlight of netizens in media X - formerly called Twitter.

This is not without reason, because the Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) in the era of President Prabowo Subianto's leadership was entangled in a hand arrest operation (OTT) carried out by the KPK on Wednesday night, August 20, 2025.

Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Fitroh Rochahyanto confirmed the silent activity.

He said the OTT was related to the alleged extortion of companies in matters of K3 certification.

Netizens were busy conveying their comments on social media.

Call it an X account called @yuris**** who thinks Wamenaker is like vacuuming his own saliva. "I'm opening up the digital footprint of Immanuel Ebenezer alias Noel who once said he was "ployed with corruptor politicians" ... and it turned out that he himself was arrested by the KPK," the account tweeted as quoted by VOI, Thursday, August 21.

Then, there is the @chusnul**** account which also made scathing comments. "How come Noel still supports corruptors being sentenced to death?" write the account.

Berikutnya, komentar datang dari akun @nikolaus***. Dia menilai, ada pertanda apa dari penangkapan Wamenaker tersebut. "Eng ing eng... pertanda apa ini?" cuitnya.

Dalam OTT yang dilakukan semalam, KPK menemukan mobil dan satu unit motor Ducati. Operasi senyap itu dilakukan di Jakarta.

Saat ini, Noel dan pihak yang diamankan dalam operasi senyap sudah berada di gedung Merah Putih KPK, Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan.
