TANGERANG - Former Governor of DKI Jakarta, Basuki Tjahja Purnama who is also a businessman assessed that Duta Indah Starhub is very observant from seeing a new investment market niche by combining houses, shops and warehouses in the same location.

"I think Duta Indah is very observant, yes, they can see the niche of market needs. When the offices and residences are oversupply, while the warehouse needs are still high. They can combine the three in one location," said the man who is called Ahok on the sidelines of the Groundbreaking Phase 3, Duta Indah Starhub warehouse at the Duta Indah Starhub Warehouse Complex, Jln. Irigation of East Cisadane, Kel. Belendung, Kec. Benda, Tangerang City, Friday, (15/8/2025).

According to him, the presence of this Warehousing Complex is very appropriate for young people who are just about to start a business.

"Now young people like to sell imported products online, they don't need to bother if there are goods entering at midnight in the warehouse. He lives there, really! So he's really smart looking for a market niche," he said.

The former regent of East Belitung said the growing interest of investors from China, Malaysia and several other countries proves that Indonesia is a big market.

"Therefore, this warehousing is in demand by foreign investors. In addition, the manager not only sells but manages all existing permits and facilities, this is what is expected by foreigners. Now how can the government provide convenience in licensing," said the former Pertamina Commissioner.

Warehouses And Offices

The Marketing Manager of Duta Indah, Metta said that for Phase 3, Duta Indah Starhub deliberately presents a special warehousing block that has a height of up to 14 meters.

"So specifically for this hybrid warehouse, we combine offices, housing as well as warehouses so that goals from entrepreneurs can be achieved. Because in this digital era, everything must be centralized, more stringent monitoring is needed," said Metta.

It is said, Duta Indah received a lot of input from entrepreneurs regarding warehouse feasibility in order to support efficiency. "That's why we launched this hybrid warehouse," said Metta.

Metta also explained that the management of this warehousing area was sold starting from IDR 5 billion and has been in demand by a number of foreign investors from China, Malaysia, Singapore and even the UK.

"One of the reasons is because this warehousing is very strategic and close to Soekarno-Hatta Airport," he said.

Previously, the CEO of Duta Indah, Ka Tjin, stated that the warehousing project, which was first built since the beginning of 2000, always carries concepts for environmental progress.

Ka Tjin hopes that this project can become a tool for opening investment that promises and prospers the surrounding community.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Tangerang, H. Maryono hopes that with the presence of the third phase of the Ambassador Indah Starhub, the economy in Tangerang City will be more stretched.

"Therefore, let investors come to invest in Tangerang City. Because as a buffer for the capital city, our region is the closest to Soetta Airport so that access is easier throughout Indonesia and even the world," he said.

He also stated that the Tangerang City Government is ready to provide convenience for investors who want to invest in Tangerang.

"The city of Tangerang is very clear in providing easy permits and various conveniences to investors as long as all the conditions they have are complete. We from the government and the DPRD also continue to discuss a number of regulations, to make it easier for investors," said Maryono.
