Called Market Leader In RI, Jasa Marga Operates 1,286 Km Toll Road

JAKARTA - Toll roads or expressways are still one of the important and massive connectivity infrastructures built in Indonesia.

Currently, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) is still the market leader (market leader) of the toll road industry in Indonesia.

Quoted from the upload on the official Instagram account @official.jasamarga, Tuesday, August 12, the length of the Jasa Marga Group toll road that has been operating is 1,286 kilometers (km) and the total toll road concessions managed reached 1,736 km.

"With a total of 3.5 million vehicles passing per day," Jasa Marga wrote.

According to Jasa Marga, the people's economy is moving through toll roads. The reason is, said JSMR, every toll road construction encourages local economic activity with 60-70 percent of workers from local communities.

"It is reflected in the stalls around the project that are busy again, MSMEs grow in rest areas, local workers are absorbed and logistical access is more efficient," he explained.

In addition, Jasa Marga considers that the construction of toll roads is a real step to support the acceleration of development in line with the Government's Astacita, especially in: supporting economic equity, connecting regional connectivity, strengthening national competitiveness and sustainability and the environment.

"The toll road that was built today is hope for the future. This is Jasa Marga's effort to build the foundation of a united and sovereign Indonesia to achieve the prosperity of the people," Jasa Marga concluded.
