IDX Reveals Two Lighthouse Companies Ready For IPO At The End Of 2025

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) Iman Rachman revealed that two lighthouse category companies are scheduled to conduct an Initial Public Offering (IPO) by the end of 2025.

The lighthouse or lighthouse company is an issuer targeted by the IDX to take the floor every year.

This category includes companies with a minimum market capitalization of IDR 3 trillion and public ownership of at least 15 percent.

"There are already six listed company candidates on the IDX, of which the two are in the lighthouse category," said Iman Rachman at a press conference on the 48th Anniversary of the Indonesian Capital Market, Monday, August 11.

This year, the target of a lighthouse company with an IPO is five companies. Even so, until the end of the year, the number could reach six companies.

Previously, the IDX targeted five lighthouse companies to conduct IPOs this year, although by the end of the year the number could reach six companies.

Meanwhile, until now there are four lighthouse companies that have officially listed their shares on the stock exchange, namely PT Raharja Energi Cepu Tbk (RATU), PT Bangun Kosambi Sukses Tbk (CBDK), PT Yupi Indo Jelly Gum Tbk (YUPI), and PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDIA).

Iman added that the data currently in use does not include financial reports as of June, so the number of new issuers with the lighthouse category still has the potential to increase to five to six companies, thus exceeding the initial target of five lighthouse companies.

"Until now, we haven't used the June book, yes, there are 6 potential listed companies on the stock exchange, of which 2 are in the lighthouse category. So hopefully if this is the way there are at least 4 plus 2 maybe more than 5, but we have 6 (lighthouses),

He added that two of the six potential companies that were in the process of recording came from the basic materials sector, one from the transportation and logistics sector, two from the industrial sector, and one from the financial sector.

"Those are six listed company candidates," said Iman.

Sebelumnya, Iman juga sempat mengungkap bahwa ada perusahaan milik salah satu konglomerat nasional yang akan melakukan IPO pada semester kedua 2025.

Namun, ia belum memberikan detail lebih lanjut terkait sektor maupun identitas perusahaan tersebut.

Previously, Iman had also revealed that there was a company owned by one of the national conglomerates that would conduct an IPO in the second half of 2025.

However, he has not provided further details regarding the sector or the identity of the company.
