Previously, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) targeted the construction of 100 Red and White Fishermen's Villages (KNMP) this year.
The construction of these 100 KNMPs will be completed within four months.
Trian Yunanda, Expert Staff to the Minister for Economic, Social, and Cultural Affairs at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, stated that the Ministry has built a Modern Fishermen's Village in Samber Binyeri Village, Biak Numfor Regency, Papua, requiring a budget of approximately IDR 20 billion. This figure serves as a benchmark for the budget required per location for the KNMP program.
"We previously built a modern fishing village in Biak with a budget of IDR 22 billion, and that became the benchmark for the budget per location. We did it over three months," said Trian during the "Morning Sea - Modern Fishermen's Village" program, which was monitored online on Monday, June 16.
Trian stated that thorough planning is needed to achieve the target of completing 100 KNMPs within four months.
