Visited By The Minister Of Trade, Irwan Hidayat: Sido Muncul Gives Real Contribution To Government Programs

JAKARTA - The Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Budi Santoso, M.S., paid a working visit to the PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk factory in Semarang, Central Java, on Friday, July 25.

During the visit, Trade Minister Budi Santoso not only tasted Sido Muncul's flagship products, but also toured the production facilities. Also accompanying the Ministry of Trade's entourage, including the Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade Isy Karim, Director General of Domestic Trade Iqbal Shoffan Shofwan, M.S., Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra, and other high-ranking officials.

The Trade Minister admitted that he was impressed by the production process in Sido Muncul which he considered to meet high production standards.

"It is true that the factory is very modern, the production process is fast and hygienic. It is appropriate that Sido Muncul can export and compete in the global market," said Budi Santoso in his remarks.

The Minister of Trade also expressed his hope that Indonesian herbal products can continue to exist and continue to grow in the international market.

Meanwhile, Director of PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk, Dr. (HC) Irwan Hidayat, who gave his virtual remarks from Sido Muncul's office in South Jakarta, said that Sido Muncul had been successful in exporting its products to a number of countries because he always obeyed existing regulations and regulations.

"We always follow all the rules and try to exceed the standards requested by the government, from the BPOM, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade, to the Environment. Because of compliance with this regulation, we believe Sido Muncul will always get trust from the community," said Irwan.

Irwan explained that by complying with existing regulations and regulations, the company has made a real contribution in supporting government programs.

Irwan also expressed his hope to the government to continue to present policies and regulations that support a healthy and sustainable investment climate.

"Indonesia is rich in natural resources and its domestic market is 300 million. With regulations that support the business world, I hope that many investors will invest in this country," said Irwan.
