Ministry Of SOEs Denies Appointing Arteria Dahlan As Commissioner Of Petrokimia Gresik

JAKARTA - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) denied reports that Arteria Dahlan was appointed Commissioner of PT Petrokimia Gresik, a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero).

Meanwhile, Arteria Dahlan is a former member of the DPR from the PDI-P faction for the 2019-2024 period.

Currently, he was also elected to the DPR for the 2024-2029 period but chose to resign and be replaced by Romy Soekarno, son of Rachmawati Soekarnoputri, Soekarno's third child from his marriage to Fatmawati.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of SOEs Putri Violla revealed that PT Petrokimia Gresik held an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on June 30, 2025.

In the meeting, continued Putri, there was no decision to appoint Arteria Dahlan as the board of commissioners of PT Petrokimia Gresik.

"The Gresik petrochemicals conducted an AGMS on June 30, 2025, and from the results of the AGMS, there is no name Arteria Dahlan on the list of commissioners of Petrokimia Gresik," Putri told VOI, Thursday, July 24.

Contacted separately, Arteria Dahlan said, the words of the Deputy Head of Golkar and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Adies Kadir, regarding himself being a Commissioner of PT Petrokimia Gresik, were just jokes.

He also emphasized that it is not true that he was appointed as a commissioner in a subsidiary of BUMN.

"It's not true (the news of being a Commissioner of PT Petrokimia), Mr. Adies joked about it. I was given busy by him to fill the party discussion event, I was happy," he said.

Sekadar informasi, kabar Arteria Dahlan menjabat sebagai komisaris PT Petrokimia Gresik mencuat dalam diskusi publik mengenai putusan MK yang digelar oleh Partai Golkar di Kantor DPP Golkar, Jakarta Barat, Kamis, 24 Juli.

Di acara tersebut, Waketum Golkar sekaligus Wakil Ketua DPR Adies Kadir memperkenalkan Arteria Dahlan sebagai komisaris PT Petrokimia Gresik.
