Subsidiary Of PLN EPI Shipship Books Revenue Of IDR 5.88 Trillion

JAKARTA - PLN Energi Primary Indonesia Subsidiary, PT Pelayaran Bahterat Adhiguna (BAG) recorded operating revenues of IDR 5.88 trillion.

In the last five years, BAg's operating income has shown a consistent upward trend and this is a strong indicator of the company's sustainability and growth in primary energy sea transportation.

"This is an important foundation for us to continue to grow and make a real contribution to the availability of primary energy chains," said President Director of PT Pelayaran Bahterat Adhiguna Tri Susanto, Thursday, July 24.

BAg also recorded a positive net profit throughout 2024. The company's net profit was recorded at Rp956.59 billion, up 6 percent compared to the 2023 achievement of Rp900.8 billion.

In addition, through the strategic initiative beyond kWh, BAg succeeded in creating an added value of IDR 516 billion, or equivalent to 134 percent of the initial projection.

This achievement is BAg's effort to expand the Development New Edge initiative through various strategic breakthroughs. BAg has succeeded in expanding its market by reaching customers outside the PLN Group, as well as expanding its service portfolio through business diversification in the non-coal sector which includes LNG transportation services, BBM, clinics, dredging, Jetty Management, to ship agency services.

In addition, BAg is also actively contributing to the national energy transition agenda through various efforts to reduce carbon emissions as part of the company's commitment to environmental sustainability.

From the operational aspect, BAg also recorded the volume of coal transportation to PLTU-PLTU PLN Group and IPP, which amounted to 37.28 million MT spread from the west end, Aceh to Holtekamp, Papua. This is supported by strengthening the fleet through investment and collaboration with transportation partners to maintain the reliability of the primary energy supply chain.
