The Ministry of Transportation has taken a policy to partially transfer scheduled flights from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (HLP) to Soekano Hatta Airport (CGK).
"The plan is carried out to improve the quality of public services at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Soekarno Hatta International Airport," said Director General of Air Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation Lukman F. Laisa in a statement in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Thursday, July 17.
He conveyed that his party had coordinated and held a number of meetings related to the flight transfer plan.
"We have informed flight operators regarding the plan to carry out flight transfers from Halim to Soetta and in principle the flight operators agree," said Lukman.
He mentioned that PT Batik Air Indonesia and PT Citilink Indonesia support the plan and will follow up on the flight transfer from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport to Soekarno Hatta Airport.

"We also hope that prospective passengers who usually fly from Halim will always follow the development of this flight information," said Lukman.
