Sunardi explained that the fake link was deliberately created by irresponsible parties to trick the public and retrieve personal data that could be misused. He also appealed if there were people who had already been deceived to immediately report it to the police because it was a criminal act.
Sunardi also reminded the public to always check the truth of the information received, especially those related to government assistance programs.
Sunardi said that this year, the government again distributed BSU to workers and laborers in the amount of Rp. 300,000 per month for two months, namely June and July.
"So the total assistance received by workers is Rp. 600,000. The funds are paid at once in one disbursement through the recipient's account," he explained.
Furthermore, he explained that the distribution of BSU began with the process of verifying and validating the data of prospective recipients carried out by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, then being verified again by the Ministry of Manpower. After being declared valid, assistance is channeled through banks that are members of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) such as BRI, BNI, Mandiri, BTN, and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI).

Sunardi reminded people not to be easily tempted by links or information circulating outside the official channel, and to always prioritize the security of personal data.
"Never provide personal data to unauthorized parties or sites. Always make sure to check information through bsu.kemnaker.go.id," he said.
With the 2025 BSU, the government hopes to help ease the economic burden on workers whose wages are a maximum of IDR 3.5 million per month and able to help increase people's purchasing power, while ensuring that wage subsidy assistance is right on target without interference from irresponsible persons.
