This dividend distribution is also a form of appreciation for the maintained trust of shareholders. This step also reflects the resilience of PTBA's performance amidst the pressures of the global coal industry," said Niko, Friday, July 11.

Despite facing price pressure, PTBA posted revenue of IDR 42.76 trillion and net profit of IDR 5.10 trillion in 2024. Coal sales volume increased 16 percent (yoy) to 42.89 million tons, with export sales growing 30 percent to 20.26 million tons, and domestic sales rising 6 percent to 22.64 million tons. PTBA's market mix is also getting more balanced, with 53 percent domestic sales and 47 percent exports.

As of December 31, 2024, the Company's total assets were recorded at IDR 41.79 trillion, an increase of 8 percent compared to the previous year.

"We are grateful that the Company's performance in the 2024 financial year remains solid amid global market price challenges and fluctuations. This supports efforts to create better added value for the national mining industry," concluded Niko.
