JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid proposed an additional budget of IDR 3.36 trillion for the 2026 fiscal year (TA).

Nusron said the additional proposal was intended to ensure the smooth running of the program that had been designed by his party to run optimally.

"For next year, if we want optimally, we still need additional cost proposals, what we propose is IDR 3.63 trillion," said Nusron at a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission II of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, July 9.

Nusron explained, the Ministry of ATR/BPN has received an indicative ceiling for 2026 of IDR 7.7 trillion based on a joint decree from the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) and the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas.

He said the indicative ceiling was deemed not to meet the budget needs next year for the implementation of the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) target to the cost of management support.

The majority of the proposed additional budget of IDR 3.36 trillion will be allocated to support personnel spending reaching IDR 1.76 trillion.

The reason, said Nusron, there will be 1,324 prospective civil servants (CPNS) who will be appointed that year.

Then for the space arrangement program of IDR 33.94 billion to support the implementation of the Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR).

"We hope that Commission II will provide support, especially the problem of this additional budget so that the acceleration of PTSL is more massive among the community," he said.

The total budget ceiling of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in 2025 is IDR 4.44 trillion, from the previous IDR 6.45 trillion before obtaining an efficiency of IDR 2.011 trillion.
