JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is predicted to rise again in today's trading, Tuesday, July 1. Phintraco Sekuritas in his research said the JCI is expected to move in the resistance range of 7,000, pivot 6,950, and support 6,800.

Phintraco Sekuritas explained that the JCI closed higher at the level of 6,927.6 (+0.43 percent) on Monday. "In addition, there is hope for an easing of monetary policy from the central bank," wrote Phintraco Sekuritas.

Phintraco Sekuritas added that the Government announced a phase I deregulation package, which includes relaxation of import regulations and ease of doing business in the trade sector. One of the goals of this deregulation is to improve the ranking of ease of business in Indonesia.

Technically, Phintraco Sekuritas said the JCI movement today moved from a lower band to a middle band, indicating there was potential recovery from previous selling pressures.

"The stochastic RSI has a reversal upward from the oversold area," he explained.

Meanwhile, Phintraco Sekuritas said the MACD was still showing a downward trend, but the histogram began to shrink and the MACD line approached the signal line, approaching a potential golden cross.

"Thus, the JCI today is estimated to have the opportunity to test the level of 6,950-7,000," explained Phintraco Sekuritas.
