JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI has increased the number of trips and operations of the Jabodebek LRT series on weekdays or working days, Monday to Friday from July 1, 2025.

The Executive Vice President of the Jabodebek LRT, Mochamad Purnomosidi, said that previously the Jabodebek LRT only operated 22 series of trips, now increasing to 24 every working day.

"Now, as many as 24 series are operated every weekday, up from the previous 22 series. This addition also encourages an increase in the number of daily trips from 366 to 398 trips on weekdays," he said in an official statement, Monday, June 30.

Purnomosidi said this increase was a commitment to the Jabodebek LRT in responding to the growing needs of the community.

Purnomosidi said that apart from adding on weekdays, on Saturdays, the number of series operated was also increased to 20 series, from the previous 18 series.
