JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI continues to distribute People's Business Credit (KUR) to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) segment to support national economic growth.
It was noted that throughout January to April 2025 BRI had distributed KUR of IDR 54.9 trillion or 31.38 percent of the total annual allocation of IDR 175 trillion set by the Government in 2025.
In this period, as many as 1.25 million debtors aka MSME entrepreneurs have received benefits from the distribution of KUR.
In terms of distribution of KUR distribution, more than half or about 62.83 percent is allocated to the production sector. Meanwhile, the agricultural sector is the economic sector with the largest distribution of IDR 23.77 trillion or 43.28 percent of the total KUR.
The amount of distribution is in line with the Government's efforts to strengthen strategic sectors that play an important role in encouraging economic growth, including sectors that support food security programs.
BRI also consistently implements prudent risk management in KUR distribution. As of April 2025, the ratio of non-performing loans (NPL) was recorded at 2.49 percent, reflecting a healthy portfolio and optimal risk management.
