JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) is ready to provide a 20 percent discount or discount on toll rates to support the government's efforts to stabilize the economy during the school holidays which will take place from June to July 2025.

Jasa Marga Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono said his party would provide toll tariff discounts on nine toll roads managed.

"So the 20 percent discount is given in nine segments because it must be felt by all people, both in Java and Sumatra, yes," said Rivan when met by reporters after attending the 2025 CreatIFF event at the Ministry of Public Works Auditorium, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 3.

According to Rivan, the nine sections are toll roads that are often traversed by road users during long holidays, including the upcoming Eid al-Adha 2025 holiday.

"We submitted another nine segments today because it must have been passed when people were on the Eid holiday," he said.

However, Rivan is still reluctant to provide information on which sections the toll tariff discount will apply. According to him, his party is currently coordinating with the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT).

"Yesterday afternoon it was flat (limited meeting). Earlier I also (coordinated) with the Minister of Transportation and the Minister of Public Works because of this, right, I'm still waiting for some BUJT as well," said Rivan.

"Well, once the fix is fixed, we will also immediately communicate about the sections and the time," he added.

Furthermore, Rivan said, his party will provide a discount on toll rates for 10 days later. "What we propose is that during the holiday period it will be around 10 days," he concluded.

Previously, the Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo confirmed that a number of Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) would provide a toll rate discount of 20 percent, as part of the government's provision of stimulus packages.

Dody said that later the toll tariff discount would last for 10 days, especially during the school holidays and welcoming the long Eid al-Adha 2025 holiday set by the government to fall on Friday, June 6.

"I (accept) discounted toll rates. (BUJT) is okay to provide 20 percent (discount) for a total of 10 days," said Dody in response to VOI's question when met at the PU Ministry office, Tuesday, June 3.
