Jasa Marga Records 325,057 Vehicles Leaving Jabotabek On The Long Holiday Of The Increase In Jesus Christ

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. noted that 325,057 vehicles had left the Jabotabek area on D-1 until D until the long holiday period of the Ascension Day of Jesus Christ or on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 to Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Lisye Octaviana said the figure is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely Cikupa GT (to Merak), Ciawi GT (to Puncak), and Cikampek Utama GT (to Trans Java) and Kalihurip Utama GT (to Bandung).

"The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area increased by 20.6 percent compared to normal traffic," he said in an official statement, Friday, May 30.

Lisye said that the distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek was heading in three directions, with a majority of 150,993 vehicles or 46.5 percent heading East (Trans Java and Bandung).

"Then, 95,590 vehicles or 29.4 percent headed for the West (Merak) and 78,474 vehicles or 24.1 percent headed for the South (Puncak)," he said.

The details, continued Lisye, traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 73,167 vehicles, an increase of 36.6 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Bandung via the Kalihurip Utama GT Cipularang Toll Road, with 77,826 vehicles, increased by 36.8 percent from normal traffic.

"The total traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs is 150,993 vehicles, an increase of 36.7 percent from normal traffic," he said.

Then, continued Lisye, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Merak through the Cikupa GT Tangerang-Merak Toll Road was 95,590 vehicles, 1.3 percent lower than normal traffic.

Meanwhile, continued Lisye, the number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek heading towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 78,474 vehicles, an increase of 26.2 percent from normal traffic.

Lisye explained that on Day H, the long holiday period for the Ascension Day of Jesus Christ (Thursday, May 29, 2025), traffic leaving Jabotabek at four main toll gates was recorded at 159,116 vehicles, an increase of 18.0 percent from normal traffic, namely 134,804 vehicles.

During the long holiday H day of the Ascension of Jesus Christ 2025, Jasa Marga noted that traffic leaving Jabotabek was seen increasing vehicles, for GT Cikampek Utama as many as 36,372 vehicles, an increase of 36.6 percent from normal traffic (26,632 vehicles).

"GT Kalihurip Utama as many as 41,339 vehicles increased 44.1 percent from normal traffic (28,679 vehicles), and GT Ciawi recorded 39,378 vehicles, an increase of 27.1 percent from normal traffic (30,979 vehicles)," said Lisye.

Jasa Marga also appealed to road users to anticipate trips before entering the toll road. Make sure the vehicle and driver are in prime condition.

"Then make sure the fuel is sufficient and the balance of electronic money cards, use rest areas to rest if you are tired of driving and obey the signs and directions of the officers," he said.
