Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto opened his voice regarding entrepreneurs asking the Government for incentives such as during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Airlangga, currently the government has not seen an urgency to provide incentives because the domestic economy is still relatively strong.

Airlangga said that national economic growth was still strong at the level of 4.98 percent in the first quarter of 2025 and was still better than other countries and the condition of domestic inflation was still relatively low, and household consumption was still growing at the level of 4.87 percent in the first quarter of 2025.
"Our inflation is also still low, and in terms of consumption it is still growing. In terms of credit distributed, it also increased, yesterday there was also an increase in meetings related to the sharia economy," he explained.
Airlangga said yesterday that there had been talks with the Australian Prime Minister since the enactment of the Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (SEPA) agreement, trade between Indonesia and Australia has increased by more than 100 percent.
In various current global situations, Airlangga said that he was preparing for President Prabowo Subianto's visit to the UK which was planned to take place in September and it was hoped that the UK could become Indonesia's strategic partner in various fields of cooperation.
Airlangga said that at the meeting, several important pillars would be discussed, such as education, health services, and the new economy in the future.
"We are developing critical minerals, and R&D and innovation is key. Now this may be a collaboration with the UK, we can improve, then we can also learn what is achieved between Britain and America. We can also learn from it," he said.
