WIR Group Through Its Subsidiary Nusameta Develops Virtual Hajj Manasik

JAKARTA - WIR Group (PT WIR ASIA Tbk, IDX: WIRG), an immersive technology and web3 company focused on Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and blockchain, through its subsidiary Nusameta announced the development of the Virtual Hajj Manasik project, a technology-based educational solution to introduce and improve understanding of hajj services to all circles with trials on school students as an early stage.

With Manara Studios, Nusameta presents a more interactive, flexible, and accessible Hajj manasik experience at any time through gaming-based e-learning technology.

With more than a decade of experience in Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and blockchain-based innovations, WIR Group through Nusameta is committed to presenting educational solutions relevant to the times. Virtual Hajj Manasik was developed to address the need for technology-based religious learning, with the aim of improving students' understanding through immersive digital simulations.

This project is currently in the testing phase in various schools to get constructive input from all related parties. Previously, Nusameta had also held an official meeting with the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia to convey the progress of the development of this Virtual Hajj Manasik platform. The Ministry of Religion welcomed this initiative and supported Nusameta's steps in enriching religious education methods through a digital approach.

The study from the EdTech Review shows that the use of interactive technology in learning can increase student engagement by up to 67 percent and deepen the understanding of concepts by up to 76 percent. On this basis, Virtual Hajj Manasik is designed not only as a learning tool, but also as a medium to strengthen the spiritual experience of the younger generation.

Currently, Nusameta is targeting the launch of Virtual Hajj Manasik by 2025. Nusameta also invites schools, educational institutions, and the Islamic community to start integrating Virtual Hajj Manasik into their curriculum, in order to enrich religious learning methods in the digital era.
