Bulog Records Profit Of IDR 66.12 Billion In 2024

JAKARTA - The Public Company of the Logistics Affairs Agency (Perum Bulog) has recorded positive financial performance throughout 2024.

This can be seen from the revenue recorded by the company of IDR 60.2 trillion with a profit of IDR 66.12 billion.

This was conveyed by the President Director of Perum Bulog Novi Helmy Prasetya in a hearing (RDP) with Commission VI of the DPR RI, Tuesday, April 29.

"Financial performance, Bulog recorded revenue of Rp. 60.291 trillion with a window of Rp. 66.12 billion. Now this is what activities are carried out during the 2024 period," he said.

Novi said this financial report had been audited and the results were declared reasonable without exception.

He said the results indicated that the company's finances were considered healthy and transparent.

In the same year, Bulog also succeeded in exceeding the domestic rice procurement target. Where Bulog was able to absorb 831,598 tons of local farmers' rice, well above the target set of 600,000 tons.

However, Novi admitted that the import of mesih rice was the backbone for the distribution of national rice stocks.

The realization of Bulog rice imports throughout 2024 reached 3,847,506 tons.

Meanwhile, continued Novi, Bulog has also distributed 1,969,433 tons of rice aid through three gaps.

This food distribution was realized by 99.44 percent during 2024 from the target of 1,980,366 tons.

"Meanwhile, the management of rice commodity stocks in the amount of 1,862,567 tons is equivalent to 163.55 percent of the premium and commercial rice targets," he said.
