JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that for the period January to March 2025 or before the 32 percent reciprocal tariff policy, it was announced that the United States (US) was still Indonesia's main export destination for clothing and footwear products.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's exports to the United States for export commodities of clothing and accessories (gluing) (HS 61) reached 38.62 thousand tons with a share of 63.40 percent of HS 61's total exports.

The export of clothing and accessories (gluing) (HS 61) to Japan with a value of 3.30 thousand tons or with a contribution of 5.41 percent, South Korea reached 3.12 thousand tons, or with a contribution of 5.14 percent. As well as to other countries reaching 15.87 thousand tons or 26.05 percent.

Then, the export of clothes and accessories (not knitted) (HS 62) to the US reached 17.70 thousand tons or with a 42.96 percent share of the total export of HS 62.

Furthermore, exports of clothing exports and accessories (not knitted) (HS 62) to Japan reached 2.28 thousand tons with a share of 10.39 percent, South Korea 2.89 thousand tons with a 7 percent stake, and other countries reaching 16.34 thousand tons or with a 39.65 percent share.

Finally, footwear exports (HS 64) to the US reached 33.27 thousand tons, or with a share of 34.16 percent of HS 64's total exports.

Meanwhile, footwear exports (HS 64) to Expenditures reached 8.18 thousand tons or with a share of 8.40 percent, to Belgium reaching 6.95 thousand tons with a contribution of 7.14 percent, to Japan reaching 5.75 thousand tons with a contribution of 5.90 percent.

Then, footwear exports (HS 64) to China reached 5.47 thousand tons with a contribution of 5.61 percent, and to other countries it reached 37.77 thousand tons with a share of 38.7 percent.
