These Two Trans Sumatra Toll Roads Get 20 Percent Tariff Cuts, Check The Details

JAKARTA - The application of a 20 percent toll rate discount also applies to two Trans Sumatra toll roads managed by PT Jasa Marga (Persero). The two sections are the Belawan 'Medan' Tanjung Morawa (Belmera) Toll Road and the Medan 'Kualanamu' Tebing Tinggi (MKTT) Toll Road.

Later, tariff cuts will be applied for eight days in two periods, four days on homecoming flow and four days on backflow. With the addition of the two toll roads, the total Jasa Marga toll roads that get tariff cuts reached six toll roads, spread across the Trans Java and Trans Sumatra regions.

To be able to enjoy a 20 percent discount during the 2025 Eid homecoming and return period, toll road users are required to make transactions using the same electronic money card for the tap-in and tap-out processes.

"Toll road users are expected to ensure the adequacy of electronic money balances to be able to enjoy a 20 percent discount when going home and back," Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said in her official statement, quoted Friday, March 21.

As a simulation, the amount of the 20 percent toll rate cut applied during the homecoming flow is as follows:

A. For continuous travel rates from GT Tanjungpura/GT Pangkalan Brandan to GT Sinaksak, the following is:

- Class I Vehicles: Initially IDR 193,500 to IDR 170,900, tariff discount of IDR 22,600

- Class II And III Vehicles: Initially IDR 292,000 to IDR 257,800, tariff discount of IDR 34,200

- Class IV and V Vehicles: Initially IDR 391,500 to IDR 345,600, tariff discount of IDR 45,900

B. For continuous travel rates from GT TanjungPura/GT Pangkalan Brandan to GT Kisaran, the following is:

- Class I Vehicles: Initially IDR 236,000 to IDR 209,800, tariff discount of IDR 26,200

- Class II And III Vehicles: Initially IDR 355,000 to IDR 315,500, tariff discount of IDR 39,500

- Class IV and V Vehicles: Initially IDR 475,000 to IDR 422,000, tariff discount of IDR 53,000

The 20 percent toll rate discount for the 2025 Eid backflow period applied is as follows:

A. For continuous travel rates from GT Sinaksak to GT TanjungPura/GT Pangkalan Brandan to be as follows:

- Class I Vehicles: Initially IDR 193,500 to IDR 170,900, tariff discount of IDR 22,600

- Class II And III Vehicles: Initially IDR 292,000 to IDR 257,800, tariff discount of IDR 34,200

- Class IV and V Vehicles: Initially IDR 391,500 to IDR 345,600, tariff discount of IDR 45,900
