JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia's national airline launched an airport transfer and car rental with Chauffeurs in 16 major cities in Indonesia with TRAC, one part of the ASTRA Group.
Through this collaboration, starting in early March 2025 Garuda Indonesia service users can order transportation transfer services provided by TRAC, as well as select premium vehicles that will be used from and to the airport.
The collaboration between Garuda Indonesia and TRAC also offers car rental services with drivers for in-city travel available for several rental durations ranging from 4 hours, 8 hours, to 12 hours.
Director of Commerce Garuda Indonesia, Ade R Susardi said this collaboration is also Garuda Indonesia's effort to optimize its service readiness in facing the peak season 1446H/2025M.
"With this TRAC joint service, we hope to improve the travel experience of Garuda Indonesia service users with the various conveniences and conveniences that are presented," said Ade in an official statement, Wednesday, March 19.
Ade said that transportation transfer services and rental cars with Chauffeur can be obtained by service users by accessing the 'Fly Garuda' application or the official website www.garuda-indonesia.com at least 24 hours before pick-up time.
This service, he continued, is available at 16 domestic airports in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Kualanamu, Pekanbaru, Palembang, Lampung, Jambi, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Makassar, Manado, Bali, and Lombok.
Ade said that service users who order airport transfer and car rental services with Chauffeur will be served in premium vehicles according to preferences.
"As well as getting additional benefits in the form of GarudaMiles points that can be collected and exchanged for various other exclusive benefits," he said.
