PIS And Pelindo Extend Maritime Logistics Cooperation

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) signed an extension of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with PT Pelindo (Persero).

The signing of the SLA is an extension of the cooperation ending in 2024.

This cooperation contract was signed by the Director of Crude Oil Tankers and PIS Petroleum, Pertamina Trans Kontinental I Ketut Laba, Director of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Putut Sri Muljanto, and President Director of PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim Arief Prabowo.

The signing of this collaboration reflects the effectiveness of the collaboration that has been established between PIS and Pelindo. Currently, PIS operates more than 300 ships and operates in more than 150 terminals. Full support from PTK and Pelindo Group is needed so that our operations can run smoothly, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulations," said Brilian, Friday, March 14.

He explained that this collaboration covers various aspects of strategic operations, including improving the reliability of guiding facilities, optimizing the number and skills of human resources in the field of guidance, as well as improving ship services in various conditions, including emergency situations and incidents.

In addition, this SLA extension also brings a number of new points that accelerate administrative processes such as reducing ship waiting times and accelerating the issuance of notes, as well as updates in the performance calculation scheme to improve transparency and accuracy in policy implementation.

Director of Management of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Putut Sri Muljanto emphasized that through the extension and improvement of this SLA, PIS and Pelindo hope to further strengthen cooperation in supporting the smooth logistics of national maritime in the future.

"With the support of a reliable fleet as well as the resources owned by PIS and Pelindo, we are committed to continuing to present innovations in port services in Indonesia. The extension of this SLA will further optimize our operations in various lines so as to support the smooth flow of national maritime logistics," added Putut.

Brilian added, this collaboration is also in accordance with the vision and mission of energy security as stated in Asta Cita, through improving the quality of maritime services and port logistics.

Not only that, this collaboration is also expected to provide benefits for the community through more efficient energy distribution.
