Luhut And Airlangga Meet, Here's The Discussion

Chairman of the National Economic Council (DEN) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan met with the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs on Wednesday, March 12.

Luhut said this was the first time he had met between the DEN and the Minister of the Economy to coordinate to provide input to President Prabowo Subianto so that the Indonesian economy would improve.

According to him, currently, fundamentally the Indonesian economy is not too much of a problem to worry about, but there is one that will get more attention like a free nutritious meal

"We want to explore, for example, how to eat nutritious so that this is even better, the absorption is better," he told the media crew, Wednesday, March 12.

Luhut said that yesterday his party had met with the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana and had been mutually agreed upon by the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy for an audit every quarter.

"Because yesterday we met Mr. Dadan, and we also agreed with the Minister of Bappenas for one quarterly audit, so that way we know later what is lacking and all kinds of things, because it takes time for improvement, but this program is very good," he explained.

In addition, Luhut conveyed his meeting with Airlangga regarding the current global situation.

During the meeting, it was agreed that the regulations that had been considered to hinder investment in Indonesia would be proposed to be abolished.

"So later there will be a team that will start working tomorrow for a week, because on the flats we already understand that, so that way this economy can be better," he explained.
