Danantara Launched, Rosan Roeslani Disbursed The Fate Of The Ministry Of SOEs

JAKARTA - CEO of the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara), Rosan Roeslani, opened his voice regarding the fate of the Ministry of SOEs after Danantara was officially launched by President Prabowo Subianto this morning.

"The role is with BUMN, we are actually very close in this case because 99 percent of ownership is in Danantara, but 1 percent of Series A's share ownership or red and white shares are in the Ministry of SOEs," he said at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday, February 24.

Rosan explained that the planning related to Danantara with the Ministry of SOEs will be carried out in the short, medium and long term.

Furthermore, Rosan said that collaboration between the Ministry of SOEs and Danantara continues to ensure that asset management and dividends of SOEs run optimally.

"The journey from Danantara that we have just started will be better and more improved, because the Ministry of SOEs has been holding SOEs, so they must have known more about SOEs. So we will collaborate together, especially in terms of increasing optimization of SOEs and SOEs themselves," he said.

According to Rosan, there are not only seven SOEs whose assets are managed by Danantara. However, the entire SOE will enter the Danantara.

Furthermore, Rosan ensured that he would increase and consolidate SOEs so that all existing assets could create economic value. He revealed that Prabowo also advised that the presence of Danantara could also create jobs.

As for now, there are seven state-owned companies whose assets are managed by Danantara, namely PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Nasional Indonesia Tbk (BBNI), PT Pertamuna, PT PLN, MIND ID, and PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM).

"Yes, it's true that later those who enter the Danantara will be the whole thing, not just 7 SOEs," he said.
