Discussion Of The 3 Million Houses Program Not Only Targeting People's Housing, But Also Komersil

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said that the discussion of the three million house program was not only targeting people's homes but also the commercial housing sector.

This was revealed by Erick after a meeting with the Minister of Home Affairs and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and BI Governor Perry Warjiyo at the Ministry of Finance Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 19.

"Earlier there were also some improvisations, not only people's houses but commercial houses being discussed by the Minister (PKP), it's amazing, the Minister is working hard day and night," said Erick.

Furthermore, Erick said, some of the commercialization of the three million home program would be reported in stages.

He said this step was a solution to solve the long backlog problem.

Erick also mentioned President Prabowo Subianto's vision that the people's housing program could be achieved as needed.

"These are the breakthroughs given and God willing, the numbers are significant, but we don't want to be long first because tomorrow the technical team," said Erick.

Meanwhile, PKP Minister Maruarar Sirait appreciated Erick Thohir's support for the three million home program through the state-owned bank (Himbara).
