JAKARTA PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) has achieved international achievements by being included in the list of The Asia-Pacific's Best Companies of 2025 released by TIME and Statista Magazines.

This award places Antam as one of the 500 best companies in the Asia-Pacific region based on an assessment of revenue growth, employee satisfaction, as well as commitments in environmental, social, and governance or Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects.

President Director of Antam Nico Kanter said this achievement is proof of the company's commitment to implementing sustainable mining practices or good mining practices as well as high ESG standards.

In the nickel sector, Antam posted nickel ore production of 9.94 million wet metric tons (wmt) with sales volume reaching 8.35 million wmt. Meanwhile, for bauxite commodities, production reached 1.33 million wmt with sales volume 736,188 wmt.

"This success is the result of a diversified business strategy and the company's efforts to meet domestic and global market needs. We believe this achievement will further strengthen Antam's future financial performance," Nico added.

Entering 2025, Antam is committed to strengthening its position in the domestic market, completing strategic projects, and increasing the implementation of ESG in all its business lines.

"This year, Antam will focus on completing strategic projects such as the Development of Indonesia's EV Battery Ecosystem and the Settlement of the Alumina Refinery (SGAR) Grade Smelter Project in Mempawah. We also continue to strengthen the domestic market to support downstreaming and industrialization of minerals in Indonesia," Nico explained.

In terms of sustainability, Antam continues to make various decarbonization efforts to reduce carbon emissions. One of the initiatives that has been taken is the installation of the PLN Grid at the Feronikel Factory in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi, to increase the use of environmentally friendly energy.

This step is part of Antam's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and supporting net zero emissions targets.
