Maruarar Says Subsidized Mortgage Realization Has Reached 93,484 House Units

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait revealed that the realization of subsidized mortgages has reached 93,484 housing units in the first 100 days of President Prabowo Subianto's administration.

Ara as he is familiarly called said that of the total realization, 54,145 units are still in the process of being built up to a credit contract. Meanwhile, 39,339 units have been distributed through the KPR scheme for Home Financing Liquidation Facilities (FLPP) and the Tapera contract.

"That's what the construction runs at 10,232 units, which is ready for 11,783 credit approvals before the contract of 23,413. Credit contracts are 8,717. A total of 54,145 units," he said in the grand launching Bale by BTN, at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta, Sunday, February 9.

"Realization of the distribution of KPR subsidies for FLPP 37,955 units, special KPR contracts for civil servants 1,384 units, totaling 39,339 units. This means, from October 20 when President Prabowo was inaugurated until February 5, the total number was 93,484," he continued.

Ara said that based on data, BTN had realized 23,313 subsidized housing units, while BTN Syariah contributed 5,529 units.

"So, a total of more than 28,000 units or 75.98 percent of subsidized housing financing has been realized," he said.

Ara also hopes that access to housing services will be easier, more innovative, and more inclusive, in line with the 3 Million Houses Program launched by the government.

Furthermore, he said collaboration between government and banking is very important in providing decent housing for all levels of society.

"Tell the public that now is the right time to own a house. With the various incentives provided by the government, we must ensure that this program is truly beneficial for the people," said Ara.

Ara also said that the incentives that have been given by the government for the community to own a house are by exemption from the Obtainment of Land and Building Rights (BPHTB) of up to 0 percent and the levy of building buildings which are now free.

For this reason, Ara invites the entire housing ecosystem, including BTN and its employees, to continue to have high militancy and fighting power in realizing housing for the people.

"I have seen firsthand how vegetable sellers, teachers, and informal sector workers can get a home thanks to BTN's support. This is a form of mutual cooperation in building houses for the people. Thank you to BTN for struggling a lot in providing houses for the people," he said.
