Government Performs Budget Efficiency, Airlangga Opens Voice Regarding THR And ASN 13th Salary

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto conveyed regarding the holiday allowance (THR) and the 13th salary for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in 2025 amid President Prabowo Subianto's budget efficiency policy.

To note, the efficiency of the Ministry/Institutional Budget (K/L) for the 2025 fiscal year is stated in the presidential instruction (Inpres) number 1 of 2025 concerning Expenditure Efficiency in the Implementation of the State Budget and Regional Budget for the 2025 fiscal year amounting to IDR 306.69 trillion.

The efficiency budget consists of a K/L budget of IDR 256.10 trillion, and a TKD of IDR 50.59 trillion.

Airlangga said the THR policy and the 13th salary for ASN could be directly asked to the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati

"Then in other ways, ask the Minister of Finance. (The 13th salary and THR ASN) Yes, the Minister of Finance asked, preparations are already there," he said at a press conference, Wednesday, February 5.

In addition, Airlangga explained that the preparation of the THR and the salaries of the 13 private companies had also been discussed with the Minister of Manpower.

"THR and the 13th salary in terms of the company (private) yesterday I spoke with the Minister of Manpower and will also prepare for that," he said.

Previously, in line with the President's direction, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati issued a Letter from the Minister of Finance Number S-37/MK.02/2025.

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani also instructed the Minister/Leaders of Institutions to identify the K/L spending efficiency plan. This efficiency plan includes operational and non-operational expenditures in all Ministries/Agencies (K/L).

However, the savings plan does not include personnel expenditure or social assistance (bansos). This is stated in point 2a.
