Indonesia Re International Conference 2022 Will Be Held 28-29 September 2022

JAKARTA - PT Reasuransi Indonesia Utama (Persero) (Indonesia Re), will hold the Indonesia Re International Conference 2022 (IIC) event atprivileged-Carlton Jakarta, on 28-29 September 2022.

Carrying the theme "Reinsurance and Economic Resilience: Dealing with Climate Change, Pandemic and Geopolitical Challenges", IIC 2022 is designed as a discussion and discussion platform for various issues and the latest trends around the global and national insurance and reinsurance industries.

In addition, this event also aims to show the public the role of the reinsurance industry in helping the government maintain economic stability through risk protection that may occur through re-ensurement of insurance risks.

"The company took the initiative to discuss the latest issues in an international conference which is expected to increase awareness of the importance of the reinsurance industry, find solutions for managing better word of risk, pandemic and credit," said Indonesia President Director Re Benny Waworuntu, in Jakarta Tuesday, September 20.

This inaugural series event is also intended to strengthen the role of the National Insurance Data Center Management Agency (BPPDAN), which is part of Indonesia Re, as a national fire insurance data management agency.

"We also want to introduce the Indonesia Re Institute, which is an insurance industry research and training organization owned by Indonesia Re," he said.

IIC 2022 will invite insurance and national and global reinsurance companies. This event will present the ranks of decision makers in the national economic sector, namely Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartanto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

In addition, panel discussions will be filled by practitioners from the global and national financial services industry, including representatives from the World Bank, Senior Economist of CORE Indonesia Hendri Saparini, and Defense Analyst clear Rahakandini.

IIC 2022 will be closed by an award session presented to the Indonesian re cedings as a form of the Company's appreciation to the national insurance industry. There are a total of eight award categories for the Indonesian Re ceding originating from life and general insurance companies.
