JAKARTA - The Astra Group through PT Sedaya Multi Investama (SMI) or Astra Financial has completed the takeover of PT Bank Jasa Jakarta (BJJ) worth IDR 3.87 trillion. With the completion of this transaction, SMI has 49.56 percent of all the issued and paid-up capital in BJJ.

SMI is a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) owned by Astra, all of its shares directly and indirectly.

He added, that as of September 16, 2022, all preliminary requirements based on the SSA to complete transactions, including the approval of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), have been met.

On that date, BJJ shareholders signed a shareholder's decision to approve the transaction. SMI, BJJ, Welab Sky Limited, PT Widya Raharja Dharma, and PT Adikarta Graha have signed a takeover deed, including completing the transaction.
