JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation plans to add a stopover port for the Sea Toll Road in 2023. The proposal for the addition of the stopover port came from several regional governments (Pemda).

The Director of Sea Traffic and Transportation, Capt Mugen S Sartoto, said that there were 16 new ports of call proposed for the sea highway service route in the 2023 Fiscal Year.

"Following up on the proposal, the Consignment Discussion on the Plan to Add Sea Toll Transit Port for Fiscal Year 2023 was held today," said Capt Mugen, in a written statement, Wednesday, June 29.
