JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has budgeted this year's APBN fund of Rp4.44 billion to build Public Infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU) in 11 subsidized housing locations in West Kalimantan.

"We want to realize quality subsidized housing and have a well-organized environment. We do this by building PSUs in subsidized housing in various parts of Indonesia," said Director General of Housing at the PUPR Ministry, Iwan Suprijanto, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, 28 June.

In the PSU construction process, said Iwan, his party always coordinates with housing developers.

The existence of a PSU, he said, is also expected to encourage people's interest in buying subsidized houses that are very affordable.

"We want to increase public interest in buying subsidized houses. So with this PSU the quality of the subsidized housing environment is not inferior to commercial housing," he explained.

The Head of the Kalimantan I Housing Provision Agency (P2P) Directorate General of Housing, Ministry of PUPR, Andy Suganda explained, the West Kalimantan Housing Provision Work Unit has signed the first phase of the Contract for the Implementation of Public Infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU) in West Kalimantan Province in the Fiscal Year 2022.

"The implementation of the first phase of PSU assistance is allocated for four subsidized housing, namely three housing in Kubu Raya Regency and one housing in Landak Regency. PSU assistance for the first phase is in the form of installing environmental road paving blocks and is targeted to be completed within the next three months or 90 calendar days with a total contract value of Rp 1.9 billion," he explained.

The companies receiving the PSU assistance include PT Mandan Acip Putra (Maniamas Resident) in Landak Regency and PT Insan Kapuas (Taman Insan Kapuas 3), PT Kalimantan Artha Velociti (Kav Satu Residence Phase 2) and PT Lintas Borneo Artha (Kav Satu Residence). Residence Stage 3).

Andy also reminded contractors in implementing PSU assistance to pay attention to three things, namely right quality, right time and right administration.

In addition, his party will also immediately take care of the asset handover process to the regional government after the PSU is completed so that the administration will be more orderly.

"In the construction of this PSU, we are also trying to fulfill the Cash-Intensive Program by involving workers from the community around the housing location as much as 30 percent of the total workers. We will also carry out a strong test of the upper and lower foundation layers in order to meet the eligibility standards," he said. .
