JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has started an inventory of land for the construction of the Gedebage-Cilacap toll road. This progress is a follow-up to the issuance of the location determination (penlok) by the West Java Provincial Government.

If it goes well, the toll road construction process will be carried out by PT Jasamarga Gedebage Cilacap (JGC), as a subsidiary of Jasa Marga.

JGC President Director Johannes Mancelly explained that the regional guide which was published in February 2022 covers the Gedebage area to northern Garut. Until now, the identification and benchmarking process included in Section 1 of the Gedebage-Garut North Junction of the Gedebage-Cilacap Toll Road for the Bandung City and Garut Regency areas has been completed.

"Following this, until now the progress of land needs for the City of Bandung and Garut Regency is in the inventory process. Meanwhile, for Bandung Regency, it is still in the process of issuing a decision letter to form a land acquisition team," said Jo Mancelly in his statement on Tuesday, June 21.

Jo hopes that the land acquisition process for Section 1 of the Gedebage-Garut North Junction of the Gedebage-Cilacap Toll Road will run according to the target so that it is hoped that construction for Section 1 can begin in the second quarter of 2023. PT JGC is also committed to continuing to coordinate with related parties in accelerating the implementation of the construction of the Gedebage-Cilacap Toll Road.
