JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is building an integrated and sustainable infrastructure in the Borobudur tourism area, Central Java, through 42 work packages worth IDR 2.27 trillion for the 2020-2022 period.

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said his party supports the Development of the Borobudur National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN)/Super Priority Tourism Area (DPSP) through the construction of water resources infrastructure, roads and bridges, settlements, and housing. For the arrangement of the area, it is planned to arrange the Borobudur Art Village in Kujon as well as the construction of bridges and pedestrian paths along the Progo River, landscape and facade arrangements in the Palbapang corridor (Jl. Mayor Kusen).
