MIND ID Records Positive Growth In Financial Performance Reaching IDR 92.75 Trillion

JAKARTA - Holding the State-Owned Mining Company (BUMN) MIND ID was able to record an increase in financial performance throughout 2021. In fact, the figure reached IDR 92.72 trillion. This achievement was driven by maximum production in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Where of the 9 mining products produced by the business entity consisting of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Inalum (Persero) and PT Timah Tbk, they were able to grow when compared to 2020 achievements.
 
MIND ID President Director Hendi Prio Santoso said that throughout 2021 the company managed to record a net profit of up to IDR 14.3 trillion or 686.9 percent year on year (yoy).
 
"Consolidated financial performance in 2021 was recorded at IDR 92.75 trillion or 40.8 percent higher than 2020," he said in a hearing with Commission VI of the House of Representatives (DPR), Wednesday, May 25.
 
Hendi said the production performance in 2021 for coal commodities was recorded at 30 million tons. "This figure is 21 percent higher than the previous year," he said.
 
Another commodity that experienced an increase in production was gold with an achievement of 1.410 thousand kilo ounces or higher when compared to the previous year's achievement. Then, continued Hendi, copper production reached 1.336 million pounds or 65 percent yoy higher.
 
"Nickel ore is 11 million tons higher by 131 percent, bauxite is 1.7 million tons higher by 8 percent," he said.
 
Meanwhile, the four mining products that experienced a decline in production included tin, which fell by 42 percent yoy or 26.5 thousand tons. Then, ferrous nickel with production of 25.8 thousand tons or 1 percent lower yoy.
 

 
According to Hendi, 66.3 thousand tons of mikel mate was 8 percent lower than the previous year. Meanwhile, aluminum was 243.5 thousand tons lower by 1 percent.
 
"From the aspect of sales performance in terms of volume, the trend reflects what has been achieved rather than in terms of production results," he said.
