JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) stated that it is targeting a number of strategic projects for the State Capital (IKN). President Director of PT PP Tbk, Novel Arsyad, said the company has sufficient competence to be involved in the government project.

"We have competence, also in terms of infrastructure, then buildings and also EPC, this is a target that we hope is quite large," Novel told reporters, Tuesday, April 5 yesterday.

According to Novel, this year there will be tenders for projects for the new State Capital. However, Novel has not been able to specify the size of the projects because it is possible that adjustments will still be made to the state budget.

"See what the process will be, then we can talk maybe after Lebaran later. But that (IKN) is our target, that's for sure. And we at PP have formed a special team to concentrate on IKN projects," he said.

The team will focus on the IKN project and report it directly to the Board of Directors regarding developments and also the tender processes that will be in IKN.
