Supporting Business Expansion Strategy, Startup Pahamify Breaks Muri's Record

JAKARTA - The educational technology startup, PT Pahami Cipta Edukasi (Pahamify) is said to have just won an achievement from the Indonesian-World Record Museum (MURI) for the Try Out Implementation category with the Most Participants, totaling 64,160 people.

Pahamify's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Edria Albert said that the efforts made by the company were a form of developing a business strategy so that it could better engage the growing market today.

“Thank you Muri for appreciating and giving this title to Pahamify. Organizing the TryOut Akbar for free is basically one of our contributions in supporting the struggle of students," he said in an official statement quoted on Sunday, January 23.

According to Edria, the concept of distance learning developers is very relevant at this time in the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, technological advances have also become a driving force for the birth of the concept of online learning.

“We believe that the market for learning with technology will be wider, especially since the number of school-age children continues to grow. Through Muri's record, we hope to capture more enthusiasm from the community," he said.

On the same occasion, Founder Muri Jaya Suprana congratulated Pahamify for the achievement. According to him, it is not easy to gather tens of thousands of people at one time and carry out the same activities.

“With pride and respect, Muri announces that Pahamify is the initiator and organizer of the State University Entrance Selection Examination Practice with the largest number of participants in Indonesia. Hopefully this achievement will further strengthen the company to always contribute directly to education in Indonesia," he said.

Pahamify itself claims to have been successfully downloaded millions of times by users through the AppStore and Google Play since it started its business activities in 2018. This startup is said to provide tens of thousands of learning content for students, both in the form of animations and learning videos.
