The Name Of Tutut Suharto Is Again Mentioned By Sri Mulyani's Subordinates Regarding The BLBI Debt, This Is The Latest Development

JAKARTA - Head of the Daily Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Task Force (BLBI) Rionald Silaban gave the latest news regarding the status of Siti Hardiyanti Rukmana alias Tutut Suharto who was involved in the central bank bailout case.

In his statement, Rionald said that Tutut was not present in person and had sent representatives to meet the task force.

"Indeed the name is already in the call. We have met with his legal representative," he said in a virtual press conference, Wednesday, October 27.

When giving a statement, Rionald, who is also listed as the Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance, admitted that he had explained in detail to Tutut what the consequences would be if he failed to fulfill his obligations to the state.

Not only that, it occurred to Rionald's words that the task force did not hesitate to use firm methods to seize and restore state rights.

"The task force has conveyed what will be done to the person concerned if the settlement cannot be done voluntarily," he said.

However, Sri Mulyani's subordinates were reluctant to comment further and chose to focus on the ongoing process.

"About what we will do (next), that's all (current information) from our actions," he said.

For information, Tutut Suharto's name was mentioned in the BLBI billing document dated April 15, 2021. The eldest of the late 2nd President of the Republic of Indonesia is considered to be related to BLBI through PT Citra Cs which consists of PT Citra Mataram Satriamarga, PT Marga Nurindo Bhakti, and PT Image of Bhakti Margatama Persada.

It was said that Tutut had to return some funds to the state with details of debts of Rp191.61 billion, Rp471.47 billion, US$6.51 million and Rp14.79 billion.
