Deputy Minister Of BUMN Pahala Mansury: The Events That Will Be Held At Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit Have Been Waiting For

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Indonesia Tourism Development or Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) officially launched the name of the Mandalika circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). The circuit is named the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit.

The name was inaugurated at the signing of the PKS Sponsorship and the Launching of the Circuit's Official Name which was held today, Thursday, October 7th. Meanwhile, the naming of the Mandalika International Street Circuit, as well as being a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Indonesia and even then, is accompanied by an initial operational plan which is targeted to be implemented in November 2021.

Deputy Minister I of BUMN, Pahala Nugraha Mansury noted that a number of agendas or activities are ready to be carried out at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit. The activity in question is the Idemitsu Asian Talent Cup which will be held on 12-14 November 2021.

"The construction of this circuit began last year in August. And in 2021 we will start carrying out several activities at the circuit. Among them on 12-14 November 2021 there will be the Idemitsu Asian Talent Cup," he said at the launch of the Mandalika Circuit name. , Thursday, October 7th.

Pahala said that from October 19 to November 1 this year the FIM MiniGP or World SuperBike will be held. Meanwhile, in 2022, MotoGP will be held which is scheduled for 11-13 February 2022 until the IndonesianGP in March 2022.

"So this is one of the long-awaited events," he said.

According to Pahala, a number of activities are one of the government's initiatives to develop and revive the tourism industry in Indonesia.

"We know that one of the events from MotoGP, for example the event that is held for example MotoGP, the viewer can reach 400 million viewers in one day. In fact, during one season more than 5 billion viewers can see," he said.
