ORI-20 Officially Released, Only With Amount Starting From IDR 1 Million People Can Help Deal With The Pandemic Through Investment

JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has officially re-issued the Retail State Bonds (ORI) series ORI-020 financing instrument.

The Director General of Financing and Risk Management at the Ministry of Finance Luky Alfirman said this step was one of the government's strategies to support the 2021 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).

"All funds obtained from the issuance of ORI-20 will be used to meet the 2021 APBN financing target," he said at a virtual launch, Monday, October 4.

Luky added that the funds collected would be channeled in an effort to deal with the pandemic in the country.

"These funds include handling the COVID-19 pandemic, one of which is to fulfill vaccination targets for the community," he said.

In detail, Sri Mulyani's subordinate explained that the offer period for State Securities (SBN) will take place from October 4 to October 21, 2021.

Meanwhile, the coupon value offered for these bonds is 4.95 percent per year. Meanwhile, the minimum value for collecting ORI-20 starts from IDR 1 million to IDR 2 billion per person.

The government itself appointed 27 official partners in the online issuance of ORI-20, namely Bank Central Asia, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Permata, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Tabungan Negara, Maybank Indonesia, Bank CIMB Niaga, and Bank Mega.

Then, Bank Mandiri, Bank OCBC NISP, Bank Panin, Bank DBS Indonesia, Bank HSBC Indonesia, Bank UOB Indonesia, Bank Commonwealth, Bank Danamon Indonesia and Bank Victoria International.

Then the four official partners of securities companies, namely Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia, BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, Bahana Sekuritas, and Mandiri Sekuritas.

Then there are three mutual fund companies, Bareksa Portal Investasi, Nusantara Sejahtera Investama (FUNDtastic+) and Star Mercato Capitale (Tanamduit).

And finally, three fintech lending companies, namely Radhika Jaya (Investree), Mitrausaha Indonesia Group (Modalku) and Lunaria Annua Teknologi (Koinworks).

"By investing in ORI-20, investors are helping the government in efforts to handle the pandemic and real development of the country," concluded Lucky.
