JAKARTA - The State Asset Management Institute (LMAN) reports that it has distributed land acquisition funding of Rp. 13.4 trillion to support the acceleration of infrastructure development for the National Strategic Project (PSN) throughout 2021.

President Director of LMAN Basuki Purwadi said the funds disbursed were sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for this year's period.

In detail, this amount is distributed to several sectors, with the largest categories being toll roads at Rp. 11.0 trillion and dams at Rp. 1.7 trillion.

"This is a form of commitment and support for accelerating the realization of PSN infrastructure in order to increase economic growth," he said in a webinar held on Friday, July 30.

Meanwhile, the Cisumdawu and Trans Sumatra toll roads are the projects with the highest absorption in the toll road sector, according to the agency under the command line of the Ministry of Finance.

"Meanwhile, in non-toll roads, the Bener Dam in Central Java and the Karian Dam in Banten will be the highest absorption in the 2021 period," he said.

Basuki added that since the land funding mandate was given to LMAN in 2016, the funds paid for land acquisition for the construction of PSN have reached IDR 80.2 trillion, with the largest absorption in the toll road sector of IDR 70.9 trillion.

The achievement of land funding distribution carried out by LMAN is said to be the result of a good synergy of all components involved in the land funding ecosystem, which among others consist of relevant ministries/agencies as well as local governments, business entities and land-owning communities.

"LMAN's performance in land funding so far has encouraged the operation of 1,415 km of new toll roads, 1 port and 2 dams," he said.

It was also revealed that LMAN continues to make various efforts and synergies to accelerate the funding process.

"Even during the period of restrictions on mobility in the context of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, payments for land acquisition funds are not hampered, and continue to show progressive performance, while still paying attention to health protocols," explained Basuki.

To note, during the 2020 to July 2021 pandemic, the payment of compensation funds for land acquisition has reached IDR 31.2 trillion.

"In addition to accelerating the infrastructure development process, land acquisition funds are also beneficial for the recipient community, to increase purchasing power which has implications for economic movement and supports social economic life during times of restrictions on community mobility," he concluded.
