Sri Mulyani Will Distribute Rp3.6 Trillion Of Productive Banpres To 3 Million Beneficiaries

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati will distribute the Banpres for Productive Micro Enterprises (BPUM) of Rp. 3.6 trillion to three million recipients starting July-September 2021.

"This is the government's effort to continue to expand the reach of support for small and medium-sized businesses, especially micro-enterprises," Sri Mulyani said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, July 27.

Previously, BPUM had been distributed to 9.8 million recipients in January-June 2021 with a total budget of Rp 11.76 trillion.

The State Treasurer stated that BPUM was a support given to protect community groups whose businesses were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

For business actors who wish to register as BPUM recipients, the application procedure can be done through the website www.kemenkopukm.go.id.

He assessed that various forms of support will continue to be evaluated and developed according to the needs of the community so that every rupiah of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) can really benefit from.

"The state budget will continue to be present for all levels of society in the country. Come on, don't be tired of obeying health protocols, continue to make efforts and pray together," closed Sri Mulyani.
