Pluang Releases Indonesia's First Agentic Trading Feature

Pluang, a leading multi-asset investment and trading platform in Indonesia, today announced the launch of Pluang Agentic Trading which will make Pluang the first investment platform in Indonesia that connects AI assistants directly to the investment accounts of active and regulated users.

Users will be able to instruct ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, or Google's Gemini to review portfolios, conduct investment research, and execute real transactions across multiple asset classes, all in a single chat window. This feature is being introduced through a controlled (beta) release environment for a limited group of users who have been put on a whitelist.

"Until now, high-quality investment analysis has only been the privilege of a few people - those who are in professional financial institutions, have access to expensive research subscriptions, or are in financial centers. What is Agentic Trading?

Agentic Trading is an integrated investment technology that allows AI (Artificial Intelligence) assistants not only to conduct market research and analysis, but also to take real actions (buy/sell executions) directly within the user's active investment account. All of these processes run with full permission and control from the user.

Built on the foundation of Aura AI - Pluang's built-in AI analysis feature which is also a pioneer in Indonesia - Pluang Agentic Trading has evolved from merely providing insight (insight) to executors through the user's favorite AI platform. This makes Pluang the first regulated retail platform in Indonesia that presents this technology.

Currently, investors have to open multiple laptop tabs to summarize financial reports, macro data, market sentiment, and price charts, then switch to a trading application to make transactions. This complex process creates significant barriers and delays. Pluang Agentic Trading brings together research, analysis, and trading execution in one uninterrupted chat session.

For comparison, global platforms such as Robinhood, Interactive Brokers, and TradeStation only introduced similar AI assistant features for investors in the United States in early 2026. Pluang managed to bring this model to Indonesia in just a few months since its global debut.

Pluang Agentic Trading Main Features

Once the account is connected, users can immediately instruct their chosen AI assistant to do various things, including:

● Real-Time Portfolio Analysis: Check the summary of assets, balances, and current positions in US stocks, Indonesian stocks, gold, crypto assets, to Crypto Futures. ● Market and Limit Order Execution: Perform cross-asset buy and sell transactions simply with everyday language commands. Each transaction must pass the manual confirmation step by the user. ● Access Live Market Data: Take real-time price data and technical indicators as the material for AI chat analysis. ● Backtest Investment Strategy: Test strategies with historical data using Pluang data systems without having to exit the AI chat screen. ● Automatic Research Summary: Ask AI to read thousands of pages of prospectuses, financial reports, or market news, and summarize the summary for decision-making.

Is Trading Using AI on Pluang Safe?

Unlike illegal "Robot Trading" schemes that often promise instant profits autonomously, Pluang Agentic Trading adopts a layered security protocol: AI Proposes, Humans Decide, Platforms Execute (Propose → Confirm → Execute).

● Not an Automated Trading Robot: This feature never trades on its own, does not promise certainty of profit, and puts the final decision 100 percent in the hands of the user. ● Mandatory Confirmation: No transaction goes through without a confirmation (Approval) tap from the user. ● System Limits: Pluang imposes a maximum limit on spending per order (order), per day, and per asset class that is locked directly from the server side. ● Disposable Token & Anti-Prompt Injection: Each order is equipped with a time-limited disposable token to prevent duplicate orders. External data is strictly read as "information", not "instructions", to ward off prompt AI manipulation attacks. This feature runs on Pluang's licensed and supervised infrastructure by OJK, Bappebti, and/or BI in providing certain products and services. All transactions pass the same customer protection standards and KYC (Know Your Customer) process as the main Pluang application.

It should be noted that all analyses connected to Pluang Agentic Trading are generated by the user's choice of AI assistant, not by Pluang. The results of the analysis may contain errors, delays, omissions, or probabilistic estimates, so users are not advised to rely solely on AI outputs and still need to conduct independent research before making investment decisions.

Pluang Agentic Trading is designed with the principles of user consent, data handling security and compliance, and security in account access, data processing, and transaction execution, in accordance with the Indonesian Law on the Protection of Personal Data and the Indonesian Law on Information and Electronic Transactions.
