So President of SAP Asia Pacific, Verena Siow is ready to face the AI era

SINGAPORE - SAP Asia Pacific (APAC) announced the appointment of Verena Siow as President for the Asia Pacific region, effective immediately.

Based in Singapore, Verena will focus on driving customer success, accelerating business transformation, and helping organizations across Asia Pacific maximize the value of the SAP solutions they use.

With almost three decades of experience in the technology industry, Verena has held various strategic positions during her 15-year career at SAP. Her last position was Business Suite Leader APAC. Where, he led the growth of the cloud business while driving the end-to-end customer value journey.

Previously, Verena also served as President and Managing Director of SAP Southeast Asia.

Chief Revenue Officer for APAC, EMEA, and MEE, Manos Raptopoulos said, "This business is driven by the acceleration of AI innovation, which is supported by the company's goals, talents, and partnerships built.

"Verena brings deep regional experience, a strong focus on customer success, and exceptional leadership to lead this strategically important growth region," Manos said in a written statement, Jakarta, Thursday, July 2.

Meanwhile, Verena said, this is a very important momentum to lead SAP Asia Pacific.

With SAP business units operating in Australia and New Zealand, Greater China, India, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia, SAP employs more than 50,000 employees across 46 offices and SAP Labs locations across Asia Pacific. SAP serves tens of thousands of customers in the region, including NEC Corporation, Coles Group, Wipro, Alibaba Group, Fujitsu Limited, Hyundai Motor Corporation, Fonterra, Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, and Asian Paints.
