GoPay Wins Best QRIS Expansion Award from Bank Indonesia at Digiwara Festival 2026

JAKARTA - GoPay has won the prestigious Digiwara Awards 2026 as the best Payment Service Provider (PSP) in the QRIS expansion program in the non-bank category. This award was given at the Digiwara Festival 2026 which took place on May 22 - 24, 2026.

This award was received by GoPay for its success in obtaining the largest QRIS transaction market share in the Banten region throughout 2025, among other financial service providers.

Digiwara Festival 2026 itself is an annual event initiated by the Bank Indonesia Representative Office (KPw BI) of Banten Province aimed at strengthening the Islamic economic ecosystem as well as accelerating digital transformation in the Banten region.

"We are grateful and grateful to Bank Indonesia for the award received. We also thank customers who entrust GoPay as a payment service provider in transactions using QRIS," said Kelvin Timotius, Head of GoPay Wallet, in a statement, Wednesday, June 3.

"This moment is proof of GoPay's consistency in expanding digital financial transaction services to the public through a lightweight application, which is easy and safe to use by all walks of life," said Kelvin.

Furthermore, Kelvin explained that the GoPay application was designed to meet users' daily financial needs, including facilitating non-cash payments through QRIS, safely and easily.

"People are increasingly relying on non-cash transactions, so we are committed to bringing digital payment service innovations for all needs through the GoPay application. We also hope that this innovation will also be a step to support Bank Indonesia in encouraging payment digitization," he said.

According to Bank Indonesia's official statement, QRIS transactions which continue to grow high reached 108.43 percent (yoy) in April 2026. Until this period, QRIS has been used by 63 million users and more than 45 million merchants, the majority of which are MSMEs.
