JAKARTA - The Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 was officially closed today. The potential value of transactions at the three-day event reached IDR 2.21 trillion.
Secretary of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Loto Srinaita Ginting conveyed this when giving a closing speech at the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 at the Smesco Building, Jakarta, Thursday, May 7.
"Then during the implementation of the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026, a total of Rp2.2 trillion in shopping transactions and potential cooperation from state-owned enterprises and large businesses have been achieved," said Loto.
Loto emphasized that support for local business actors should not only stop at the buy-off action, but must continue in the form of sustainable supply chain partnerships.
"Supporting MSMEs is not enough to buy their products once in a while. Support will continue if the partnership is a supply chain partnership. When a big business advances, he will lift the MSMEs below him," he said.
He also reminded the mandate of Government Regulation (PP) Number 7 of 2021, which requires ministries, agencies, and local governments to allocate at least 40 percent of their budget for UMKM products.
According to him, the partnership model has proven effective in developed countries with a contribution of more than 41 percent.
Meanwhile, the General Chair of the Indonesian Association of Retailers and Shopping Center Tenants (Hippindo) Budiharjo Iduansjah emphasized that the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 has transformed into a strategic need for the national retail sector.
According to him, the event is no longer just a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, but a vital platform to strengthen the supply chain of the modern retail industry.
Entering its fourth year of implementation, Budiharjo highlighted the surge in the quality of UMKM participants.
He noted that there were significant changes in the readiness of business actors in facing the business matching session.
"MSME actors now understand the importance of business matching. They come with thorough preparation, bringing business cards, catalogs, and samples of qualified products," he said.
This condition is inversely proportional to the first year of implementation, where many business actors still do not understand the mechanism of professional business meetings.
Previously, Deputy Minister of MSME Helvi Moraza officially opened the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 on Tuesday, May 5.
In his remarks, Helvi targeted that the value of the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 transaction reached IDR 2.5 trillion, a significant increase compared to the previous year's achievement.
Helvi said that the market potential for MSMEs is very wide open, especially through government spending commitments.
"Last year, we recorded transactions of Rp. 2.1 trillion. This year, we are targeting success with a figure of Rp. 2.5 trillion. The government has opened the widest possible opportunities," he said.
