"ASD's participation in the TJSL BUMN program in Raja Ampat is a manifestation of our commitment to not only provide reliable transportation services, but also actively contribute to maintaining environmental sustainability and improving the welfare of the community. Through this collaboration, we hope to create a sustainable impact and provide added value for the local community," he said in a written statement, Tuesday, April 28.

In Kampung Mutus, the program focuses on ecosystem rehabilitation through the planting of 2,000 mangrove seedlings and 650 coral fragments accompanied by environmental preservation education for the community. This program is also strengthened with training and diving certification for conservation groups, as well as assistance from Village Owned Business (BUMDes) to increase institutional capacity and community income. In addition, access to electricity can now be felt by 119 houses with a reach of around 500 beneficiaries.

In the education sector, the program also supports the renovation of learning facilities and the provision of educational facilities at the YPK Effata Mutus Elementary School and SMPN 11 Raja Ampat.

Meanwhile, in Manyaifun Village, the program is directed at strengthening basic infrastructure and social services through the provision of electricity for 59 houses with a reach of 117 beneficiaries. This activity is also equipped with renovations of public facilities, schools, and houses of worship to support the overall quality of life of the community.

Director of TJSL BP BUMN, Edi Eko Cahyono explained that cross-BUMN collaboration is a strategic step to present a more integrated, measurable, and sustainable TJSL program through a multi-intervention approach.

ASDP Corporate Secretary, Windy Andale added, this program continues various previous ASDP TJSL initiatives, such as planting 3,000 mangrove seedlings in Bitung, transplanting coral reefs in Labuan Bajo, providing scholarships in Sumbawa, supporting the development of MSMEs, to renovating houses of worship in various regions of East Indonesia.

According to Windy, these various programs also support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ranging from poverty eradication, quality education, clean and affordable energy, to the protection of marine ecosystems.

"Through this collaboration program, ASDP wants to ensure that its presence not only brings connectivity, but also provides real and sustainable benefits for the community," concluded Windy.
