JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia stated that Indonesia does not import fuel oil products (BBM) from the Middle East.
He said Indonesia only imports crude oil from the Middle East by 20 percent of total imports. As for fuel, the government imports from Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia.

Furthermore, Bahlil said that in the future Indonesia must begin to develop refineries for production in the country.

Meanwhile, Bahlil ensured that the national fuel and LPG reserves were in a safe condition ahead of the holiday period.
